Ravindra Kumar/Jhunjhunu. Aloo Tikki is very much liked as chaat. Many people add different types of things to Aloo Tikki to make it tasty. At some places sweet chutney is served with tikkis and at other places special spices are added to it. In this way, a stall of Aloo Tikki Chaat is set up near the Roadways Bus Depot of Jhunjhunu. They add chickpeas to their potato tikkis and serve them to people to eat.
Sunil Kumar, who was selling Aloo Tikki, told that his father used to run the shop at this place for the last 40 years and now he runs it himself. Sunil told that in preparing a plate of potato tikki, potato tikki, chutney, chickpeas, onion and curd are added. Chillies, coriander and turmeric are added to the chickpea vegetable and it is boiled. He told that the rate of one plate is Rs 40.

While talking to Local 18, Sunil said that he comes to his cart at 8 in the morning and by 12 noon people eat all his tikkis. A customer who was tasting Aloo Tikki at the shop told that he has been coming to the shop for the last 2 years. Everything that goes in the Aloo Tikki here is very tasty. He told that adding chickpeas completely changes the taste of Aloo Tikki.
